MBC’s new Wed/Thurs drama “You’re Into Me” (formerly titled “Festival“) made headlines by casting CNBlue’s Jung Yong Hwa and Park Shin Hye as its leads. The two were part of mega-popular drama “You’re Beautiful, ” where Jung’s Shin Woo lost the girl – Park’s Mi Nam – to Jang Geun Suk’s Hwang Tae Kyung. The two received much love as the Shin Woo-Mi Nam couple in 2009 and will once again show their perfect on-screen chemistry. On May 2
, the entire cast of got together at the JS Picture’s office for their first script reading. For two months, television viewers will be able to feast their eyes on beautiful young up-and-coming stars like Jung Yong Hwa, Park Shin Hye, Song Chang Hui, So Yi Hyun, Kang Min Hyuk, and Woori. The drama also boasts of veteran actors like Shin Goo, Sun Woo Jae Duk, Lee Yil Hwa, and Kim Sun Kyung.
“You’re Into Me” is singer-actor Jung Yong Hwa’s first lead role. Despite his hectic schedule promoting his album “Intuition” with fellow CNBlue members, he showed passion and energy towards acting. The actors showed up to the script reading ready for their parts. Jung Yong Hwa, who plays arrogant Lee Shin, showed up in a sharp blazer; and Park Shin Hye, who plays bubbly Lee Gyu Won, sported a new short hairdo.

Song Chang Ui was pretty relaxed throughout the reading. His character, Kim Suk Hyun, is a successful Broadway musical director who decides to return to Korea. So Yi Hyun displayed her elegant and graceful figure and soft-spoken attitude, perfect for her dance professor character.
Representatives of JS Pictures stated, “There were a few awkward moments at the beginning because this was the first time both our young and veteran actors met in one place, but all that disappeared once the reading started. They started out as strangers but became a family by the end of the reading. We hope many viewers support and enjoy our youthful trendy drama.”
“You’re into Me” is a drama about young love, friendships, dreams, and music. It will air its pilot episode on June 29I love seeing these two together. They are both beautiful and wonderful actors. I am sure they are getting all the press (again) because of the recent release of the drama “Heartstrings” in Japan. This is a wonderful drama. it brought them back together after filming the series “You’re Beautiful.” We get the ending in Heartstrings that we did not see in You’re Beautiful (which ended just perfectly for me, I don’t mind saying.) It was great watching the banter the battle of the bands, enduring grandfathers life story, because LeeShin really did remind him of himself at that age–inside joke. The emotions and the ending that made me get goosebumps thinking about it. OK, enough silly drama talk. I have a poem for hubby to write. With a little help from a CNBLUE song, I am sure everyone will recognize. Happy drama-ing my friends!
