On November 30th, media outlet Ten Asia shared that Park Shin Hye and Park Hyung Sik will pair up for the upcoming medical K-drama titled Doctor Slump (literal translation).
Both of their agencies responded to the casting reports. According to Park Shin Hye's agency Salt Entertainment, the actress is positively considering the casting offer. Park Hyung Sik's side also commented and revealed that the idol actor is also reviewing the k-drama positively.
Doctor Slump is a romantic comedy series that will tell the stories of doctors who are currently experiencing slumps. The K-drama will showcase how they will resuscitate and return to their lives.

“Doctor Slump” is a romantic comedy that follows the story of Yeo Jung Woo (Park Hyung Sik) and Nam Ha Neul (Park Shin Hye) as they try to resuscitate their lives when they fall into a slump after only having followed successful paths. The two rivals who hate each other will reunite in the darkest period of their lives and become each other’s light, delivering smiles, excitement, and heartwarming comfort along the way. The two who will spend both their brightest and lowest times together raise anticipation for how they will depict their search for happiness.
“Doctor Slump” will also mark the reunion between Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye in a drama for the first time in 10 years since their hit project “Heirs.” The drama will also be helmed by director Oh Hyun Jong of “Find Me in Your Memory” and “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo” and written by scriptwriter Baek Sun Wo of “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim.”

Almost a decade after The Heirs released, Park Shin-hye and Park Hyung-sik are in talks to reunite for a new medical-themed K-drama. The actors have reportedly been offered the lead roles in the K-drama Doctor Slump (literal title). Both their agencies have confirmed that the actors have been offered the role. Via Soompi, Park Shin Hye’s agency SALT Entertainment said, “Park Shin Hye has received the offer to star in Doctor Slump and she is positively reviewing the offer.” Park Hyung Sik’s agency P&Studio also said, “He is positively reviewing the offer to star in Doctor Slump.”
If accepted, Park Shin-hye will be seen playing the role of Nam Ha-neul while Park Hyung-sik would play Yeo Jung-woo. The rom-com story revolves around two doctors who live in a rooftop house after having quitting their jobs at the hospital.
If not in a pivotal role, we hope Lee Min-ho and Kim Woo-bin at least make a cameo if Park Shin-hye and Park Hyung-sik agree to do the show.
